E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

ALEXANDRIA, June 19 - Alawar Entertainment, one of the world’s leading publishers of casual games, today announced the release of Mr. Bilbo: Four Corners of the World, a new restaurant sim. Starring a go-getting hamster named Bilbo, the time-management release was made to appeal to the millions of casual gaming fans worldwide.

While Bilbo dreams about marrying the daughter of a rich restaurateur, the stern businessman is opposed to entrusting his family’s meal ticket to an inexperienced youngster. To prove his competence in the kitchen and demonstrate his moneymaking skills, Bilbo must turn a small diner into a highly regarded five-star restaurant.

Bilbo’s heroic efforts take him on a culinary journey through four countries, including Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo and Amsterdam. Players can enjoy over 40 unique and exciting missions in which they bake scrumptious croissants, mix tantalizing cocktails and cook mouthwatering barbeque dishes. These and other tasks are presented in the form of amusing mini-games.
Several adorable animal characters from another Alawar game, Alex Gordon, also appear in Mr. Bilbo, giving the game added charm for every member of the family.
“Mr. Bilbo: Four Corners of the World was created primarily for female players,” says Kirill Plotnikov, Alawar’s vice president of publishing. “We believe ladies everywhere will have a great time experimenting with the various dishes and serving them to customers. They should also enjoy the lighthearted romantic story, which culminates in a delightful wedding. We worked hard on Mr. Bilbo and hope you’ll join our hero on his first grand adventure!”
