Vyk Games Inc., a leading videogame development service provider, based in Shanghai, China, today announced that it has been selected by Jenkat Media, Inc., a leading casual game developer and distributor founded by veterans of Fox Interactive Media and MySpace Games, to develop Jenkat’s new casual game titles. Leading off the new partnership, Vyk Games provided game development services for the all new Mr. Biscuits – Case of the Ocean Pearl, a casual mystery thriller in which players will help a lovable pug, Mr. Biscuits, search for clues to solve mysteries aboard the cruise ship the Ocean Pearl. The new title will launch with select online retailers in time for the holidays and will be widely offered for download on the PC in January, 2009.

Vyk Games specializes in offering casual game development services to companies worldwide, harnessing an international team of game industry executives with dozens of combined years of experience in videogame art, design and development. Other services include 2D concept and design, 3D modeling, level design, and virtual world building, among others.

“Vyk Games’ new casual game development team was formed to service the needs of game publishers worldwide in order to create high quality games on time and on budget,” said Tom Sperry, CEO of Vyk Games. “We’re pleased to partner with Jenkat Media in the development of various casual game titles, especially with the current Mr. Biscuits project. The great quality that we’re aiming to achieve will be evident once the game launches, and casual gamers the world over will surely enjoy the mystery adventure that this game offers.”

“Mr. Biscuits was an important title for us to showcase our talent, and we needed to find a partner that could help us inject new personality into the hidden object genre,” said Malcolm Michaels, President, Jenkat Media. “Vyk Games’ previous game development experience was key to us selecting the company to help with the development of Mr. Biscuits. We’re confident that Mr. Biscuits will be a success, built on quality and fun, and we look forward to bringing additional titles to market in our continued relationship.”
