Bandai Fact Sheet

Highlighting the appeal of mobile suit battles in the Gundam Wing saga, Bandai has created a strategic one-player 3D action game for the PlayStation®2 titled Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo. This 3D action game takes full advantage of the PS2's processing power as well as the advanced data capacity of DVD media to feature beautiful 3D full-motion graphics and character animation. Designed with careful attention to specular lighting, inverse kinematics and motion blending, the result is movie-quality graphics and fast-action RTS gameplay. In Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo the player takes the role of Amuro Ray and fights against enemy mobile suits in one-on-one or group mobile suit battles in the "One Year War." The story mode features multiple stages leading up to the final battle in Jaburo. The player can pilot up to 20 different mobile suits in the additional bonus mode. The game is targeted for release on July 25, 2001 at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Rating: Pending.
