Bandai Fact Sheet

Long-time Gundam fans will appreciate Bandai's release of Mobile Suit Gundam Zeonic Front. Based on the original Gundam TV series, this game allows the player to experience the "One Year War" from the perspective of the Principality of Zeon. Set in U.C. 0079, the Zeons must fight to regain control of the Earth as the Earth Federation, with its superior resources, begins taking Zeon-controlled territory one battle at a time. The player becomes the commander of a famed mobile suit company and leads his troops in a fight for Principality of Zeon's independence from the Earth Federation. The player commands up to three platoons in every mission, and devise his own strategy for accomplishing each mission. The abundant variation of missions, complete with engaging story lines and realistic battlefields, makes this real-time strategy game highly replayable. Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front is scheduled for release in October 2001 at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Rating: Pending.
