Welcome to Mythica, the new massively multiplayer online game from Microsoft Game Studios. Here you are no common adventurer—in Mythica, you play the role of an Immortal, a warrior spirit recruited by the Norse gods themselves! Ascending to the afterlife, you'll venture across multiple planes of existence, gaining new powers, fame or infamy—even your own worshippers as you transcend immortality to achieve true godhood!

Fighting side-by-side with the Norse gods, you'll find yourself swept into ultimate battle against the Fire Giants, holding them back from laying waste to all creation.

Key Features:

- Traverse fantastic Norse realms

In Mythica, players journey across the Norse planes of existence, each one offering its own storyline, treasures, and dangers. From hallowed Asgard, travel to the mortal planes of Midgard and Vanaheim, into the caverns of Nidavellir, through the frozen wastes of Jotunheim, and on to the fiery heart of Muspellheim itself.

- One true hero

With new Private Realms technology, Mythica redefines the massively multiplayer category, combining the richness of a single-player role-playing game with the social experience of a massively multiplayer game. Players can choose to adventure with a band of fellow players in huge public areas populated by other players or enter a Private Realm to take on handcrafted, individual quests with destructible environments, cinematics, and engaging storylines.

- War with absolute power

Transcending the mortal life brings exceptional reward. Players are imbued with immortal powers to conquer entire hordes of creatures, as well as to face creatures of legend. However, true power only comes when players combine their energies to perform Rites: massive group magics capable of leveling a mountain.

- Pledge to a patron god

When choosing their class, players can align with the Norse gods themselves and gain powers accordingly. Pledge to Thor to share in his berserker strength, or to Loki for his trickster guile. Gain enough glory for your patron god, and you may one day find yourself fighting alongside him or her in battle!

- Build worship

Powers can also be earned by answering the prayers of mortal factions: Human, Alfar (elves), or Dvergar (dwarves). Helping these mortals will grant special skills and resources—and even determine a player's look over time using a collectible appearance system. Those that you help may even become worshippers—do right by them and you can become their god!
