Ship: Fall 2000
The successor to the most realistic basketball sim ever created, Sega
Sports NBA 2K1 features updated graphics, advanced AI, crisper animations,
more lines of commentary and for the first time ever, network play via
Sega Dreamcast. Gamers can taunt, chat and play against friends across
the country in real time using their own ISP or SegaNet, the only high
speed console gaming network. Adding to the breakthrough nature of this
title is the new Franchise Mode, where players can transform themselves
into the General manager: drafting rookies and making trades to create
the ultimate team. With Sega Sports NBA 2K1 in the line-up, Sega Sports
continues to break new ground in this category.
Features:
- Connect online to another Sega Dreamcast with up to eight players
total (four per console) and start your own basketball tournament

- Updated rosters that include all the latest trades, rookies and retirements

to pass out of layups and rebounds
