Players will master the basic concepts in the free Starter campaign, then move onto the more advanced Classic campaign featuring 128 levels, 7 species of plankton, and new achievements.  The Arctic campaign introduces frozen plankton with new gameplay in 128 levels as well as new power-ups and arctic-themed awards.

Planktopop 2 includes challenging oil levels, multiple types of power-ups, achievements for outstanding play, multiple user profiles for shared family tablets, and leaderboards which compare game progress and awards of local users and Facebook friends.
