In a weekly series, part of their official blog, Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes are presenting the creatures who populate the volcanic island setting of the role-playing game "Risen". Starting immediately, at http://risen.deepsilver.com, the courageous hero will find information regarding the various, sometimes dangerous, creatures he will encounter in his travels across the island. They are all featured in the bestiary in text and illustrations, from cunning gnomes to mighty ashbeasts. Adventurer, beware!

About Risen:

This epic role playing game is set in a medieval world on a volcanic Mediterranean island, The “Risen” story unfolds over four chapters and will offer multiple ways to develop the story by his own actions and decisions. An innovative and intuitive user control interface will support both casual and hardcore gamers.
