Rune Screenshots

Players assume the role of Ragnar the Viking. In an age when might makes right, it is Ragnar who doles out justice on the blade of his massive battle-axe. Players will explore beautiful settings both above and below the mountains of the far north as Ragnar fights his way through several stunning and unique kingdoms to an ultimate confrontation with Sark Amen, the shadowy warrior-masters of the netherworld.

Each weapon in Rune will also have its own specific Rune Power, which provide a boost to the attack and defense. the power for each weapon is unque and range from such things as vampiric mace (which sucks health from the enemy with each successful strike) to a weapon that causes a force blast around the players, knocking any nearby creatures away.

Rune includes a full single player story game as well as several specially designed multi-player levels that allow players to cooperate or compete as Ragnar or another Viking warrior. The multi-player game will feature standard death match, as well as unique new game mode that are designed to take avantage of the melee-only gameplay experience.

  • Combat system is both fun for the casual player, but challenging for the hardcore player who is looking for more than just button mashing.

  • Loot your opponent's body for weapons.

  • More than thirteen unique melee offensive and defensive weapons including: Warhammers, Swords, Battleaxes, and Shields.

  • Hunt and kill live meat for health restoration.

  • Realistic character modeling and animation.
