Amsterdam, The Netherlands, August 17th : Dutch publisher Lighthouse Interactive today announced that they have signed a deal for developer Vertex4's exciting upcoming RTS-game for PCCD 'SunAge'. The deal will see Lighthouse publishing the title throughout all territories within Europe as well as Russia.

Lighthouse Interactive CEO Erik Schreuder commented: "SunAge had me addicted instantly. There is something about it that just makes me want to come back and go into battle every time. It has a great atmosphere to it, thanks to Austrian composer "Angina P", who did the musical score and sound FX. The diversity in the units and the deep gameplay really make this an outstanding RTS. We are confident it will be a crowd-pleaser."

Roman Pfneudl , CEO at Vertex4 said: "I started working on the first steps of the technology and the game concept back in 1997, so I am thrilled to work together with Lighthouse and to bring SunAge to gamers around the world. I am really sure that gamers who like strategy and action will feel right at home with SunAge, while at the same time we're adding cool stuff such as dual functionality for every unit, command queuing and much more."

SunAge is an 'old school' RTS, with a bigger emphasis on hefty action than resource management and building. Set on a futuristic earth and beyond, players can choose from 3 very different races in single- and multiplayer. SunAge offers extremely smooth and deep gameplay. The overall look and feel is very similar to classic RTS games and will appeal to most fans of the strategy genre. SunAge is set for a release in February 2006.

Features:

Alternate modes: units of 3 races all with dual functionality for greater tactical depth
- Connection lines: exploit weaknesses in the enemies network and build your own
- Formations: intuitive formation handling and superior overview in battles
- Campaign: 24 map single player campaign with strong storyline
- Command queuing: give out successive orders and they will be executed
- Multiplayer: oldschool multiplayer with focus on gathering 4 kinds of resources and outsmarting the opponent in battle
