New York – Gameloft®, a leading publisher and developer of video games for consoles and mobile phones, today launched TV Show King on WiiWareTM, Nintendo’s new downloadable game service for Wii™.

“As we remain at the forefront of the casual games market, we’re excited to launch our first WiiWare game,” said Gonzague de Vallois, senior vice president, publishing. “The Wii has completely revolutionized the gaming space, and the launch of WiiWare now makes it possible for us to distribute more innovative and entertaining games easier than ever before, the first of which is TV Show King.”

An original game, developed exclusively for WiiWare, Gameloft’s TV Show King is a mock quiz show that tests general knowledge trivia. As a contestant, the player will have to answer questions using strategy and bluffing to eliminate the other three players. Complete with a lively TV game show atmosphere, the 3,000 questions range from history, geography, literature, science, sports, entertainment and general knowledge. With 80% of the questions focusing on general knowledge and 20% on region specific categories, TV Show King can be enjoyed across multiple countries.

TV Show King game features include:

• Play up to 4 players, either against friends and family or A.I
• Three types of difficulty levels – Normal, for the average Joe ; King, for the smarty-pants ; Genius, for the Mensa member
• Three types of quizzes – Classic Quiz, be the first to answer and you earn 100% of the points, 2nd to answer receives 70% of points ; Scratch Quiz, answers are hidden! Use your Wii Remote™ to look for the correct answers by scratching the different options ; Light Quiz, answers are in the dark! Use your pointer as a torch light to scan the correct answer.
