WORLDWIDE SOCCER MANAGER 2008 ANNOUNCED FOR HOLIDAY RELEASE

The Critically-Acclaimed Soccer Management Game Returns with New Features and Updated Teams and Players on October 23rd

SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON (October 3, 2007) - SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. today announce the release date for Worldwide Soccer Manager™ 2008 for Games for Windows™ PC and Apple Macintosh. The latest in this award-winning series, developed by acclaimed studio Sports Interactive, is scheduled to be available in North America on October 23, 2007 exclusively at Amazon.com and via digital download.

Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008 will allow players to build their dream team from a library of over 5,000 playable teams from over 50 countries. The game also gives players the opportunity to manage every facet of their dream team including trading players, allocating budgets, and seizing media opportunities. Players will lead their team in competitive Cup matches, leagues, European Championships, and major international tournaments. Improvements in the game will now offer a more sophisticated and realistic experience including a new Confidence Center to gauge fan reactions, an enhanced Media Center to allow for more feedback and competitive news, and a revamped Finance section.

Some of the other new features include:

* Match-Flow - An improved system that allows the game day to flow seamlessly without requiring players to pause for tactical changes. The new system also includes a mini-radar pitch when making tactical changes to keep the player constantly connected to the action. Players will get involved with match previews, team talks, instructions for opposing players, and half-time as well as post-game breakdowns.
* International Management - Improvements in international management include media improvements, international retirements, player interaction, international scouting, and improved pool and captain selection.
* Fan days - The board can now arrange fan day events to boost low attendance.

"With Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008, we're once again raising the bar in the sports management genre," says Miles Jacobson, Studio Director of Sports Interactive. "Based on fan feedback, we have added dozens of new features and upgraded the elements the game is best known for. We are really looking forward to giving fans the game they helped to create and develop and we know - without a doubt - that Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008 is the best the series has to offer."
