Time Race: Race against time and save as many critters as possible before the hammer squashes them. The higher the level, the more limited time you have and the faster and greater the horde of critters floating down to be matched.

Strike Out: In this survival mode avoid making match mistakes as you only have a certain number allowed before losing the game. This is one continuous play with levelling up, increasing difficulty, critters moving down faster, increasing in numbers and relatively less mistakes to make as the game advances. Can you survive and complete your progression through all 25 levels in one go?

Shapeshifter: In this mode you need to concentrate on the shape-shifting critter on the left and tap only on the matching critters on the right. Try to get as many as you can within seconds before the critters switch over.

Courgette: The radio-active courgettes are entered into play, an additional obstacle to overcome. You have to save the critter before the courgette zaps it out of being.
