Did I ever tell you how exhausting it can be to create something as seemingly simple as this release list? It takes cross-referencing Steam, retailers, official posts, and Wikipedia, all of which might be wrong or not updated with the right information. I'm surprised there isn't a source out there that compiles all of the proper video game release dates in one place. It can be such a mess that some websites have a full-time database editor just to keep everything in check.
During the week of GDC which runs from March 2-6, Screamride will be among the first strong indie titles exclusive to the Xbox One before Ori and the Blind Forest releases a week later. PlayStation Network will have Helldivers as a counter, and Nintendo will release its first cross-buy title in Mario vs. Donkey Kong Tipping Stars.
In the middle of the month, Sid Meier's Starships and Battlefield Hardline will make their debuts, alongside plenty of ports and remakes. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be among the top of the line as it comes with the demo for Final Fantasy XV, but don't forget about DmC: Definitive Edition and the first DLC campaign for Far Cry 4 entitled Valley of the Yetis.
Rounding out the month will be Mario Party 10, the much-anticipated PS4-exclusive Bloodborne, and equally much-anticipated Pillars of Eternity, which received nearly $4 million back on Kickstarter by October 16, 2012. That's not the end of it, thankfully, as Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will continue to release weekly episodes throughout the month. There's no release date yet for other episodic adventures like Tales of the Borderlands, Telltale's Game of Thrones, and Life Is Strange, but an episode for any one of them could release this month as well.
