Move over, Pokemon, it’s Digimon‘s turn next. Digimon has always been arguably less popular than Pokemon, and it doesn’t help that their names sound so similar. The company will also reveal the latest information on Digimon smartphone games and goods as well. The final part of the live stream will feature a discussion involving special guests, which might mean a new Digimon anime on the horizon.

Eager Digimon fans can actually attend the event by forking over 5,000 yen per person. If you can’t even wait for the live stream, Siliconera reports that information on the new Digimon game project will actually be revealed slightly earlier in the September issue of V-Jump magazine, that will strangely be available in Japan by July 21st, 2018. It will be good to hear more about the long-running franchise, especially since the most recent game was quite good.
