Fortnite Search the Treasure Map Signpost Found in Junk Junction | What is the challenge?
As you can already see, this challenge (leaked by Twitter user Lucas7yoshi) features two stages. The two stages of the leaked Season 8 Week 10 challenge are as follows:
- Stage 1: Search the treasure map signpost found in Junk Junction
- Stage 2: Follow the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction
According to the leak, this looks as though it will be a simple enough challenge to complete. It appears as though you will receive two Battle Stars for completing stage one of the challenge, and you’ll earn a further three Battle Stars for completing stage two. That’s five Battle Stars in total. If you want to know how to complete this challenge, you’ll need to carry on reading.
Fortnite Search the Treasure Map Signpost Found in Junk Junction | How to complete
As there are two stages to complete in this challenge, you will need to complete both in the correct order. First, you will need to search the treasure map signpost found in Junk Junction. Luckily, we know where you need to go. Head to the location marked with a number one on the map above. For more detail, though, you will need to drop into Junk Junction and head to the center-north reaches of the named location. You should find the treasure map signpost in the middle of two piles of crushed cars, behind a blue storage container. Simply head over to the signpost treasure map and either activate it or get close enough that it shows you the map.
To complete the second stage of this challenge, you will need to follow the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction to where X marks the spot. This should be at the Fork Knife location just to the north of Fatal Fields. The treasure map signpost location should take you to the bottom point of the jutting out section of the knife, right in the corner. Head to the highlighted area marked with a number two in the map above.
This challenge is liable to change, however, and we will update this post as soon as the challenges go live if needs be. Remember, too, that you will need to finish a match of Fortnite before the challenge progress counts. No quitting mid-way through a match for you.
