HBO Max 4K

At launch, HBO Max does not offer 4K streaming quality. As of writing, you can only watch HBO Max in its standard HD format. This means that nothing on HBO Max is available in UHD or HDR. The new streaming service won’t be showing off your new 4K setup, for now. Despite this being disappointing, especially given that competitor streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV all offer 4K content, we do know that 4K options are in the works for HBO Max.
