2010 GR Awards: Best Shooter Game

Posted on Wednesday, December 22 @ 11:13:17 PST by Kuulei_N

Halo: Reach is Bungie’s last contribution to the franchise, and what better way to go out with a bang than to deliver a prequel that is the epitome of the Halo universe combined with some new twists and turns. Halo: Reach’s campaign carries an unforgettable storyline and still holds the ever effective matchmaking system. Players fly to and fro with jetpacks in new game modes like Headhunter and Invasion, while also featuring familiar modes like Forge and Firefight. Halo: Reach contains everything your little Halo-fan heart desires and then some, which is why it is more than worthy of receiving the Shooter of the Year award.

Runners-Up (in alphabetical order) - Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Bioshock 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Vanquish
