Faction Pack DLC For Metro: Last Light Arrives July 16, Three Additional DLC Packs Announced Too

Deep Silver, via press release, will be planning four DLC packs for the critically acclaimed Metro: Last Light, beginning with the Faction Pack to release on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on July 16th in North America and July 16th in all other regions.

Priced at $4.99 (or 400 MSP), the Faction Pack will place the player in three separate single-player missions, operating first as a sniper of the Redline, then as a Reich 'Heavy' on the frontlines, and finally as a Polis Ranger in training who must scour a library for lost artifacts.

Three additional packs will come later at an unannounced date: the "Tower Pack" will challenge players to fight their way through a combat simulation; the "Developer Pack" comes with a Shooting Gallery, the AI Arena, Metro Museum, and a bonus solo mission called The Spider's Nest; and the "Chronicles Pack" will let players experience the side stories of Pavel, Khan, and Anna.

These four packs will likely cost $4.99 as well, though players can purchase all four at a lower cost by getting the Season Pass at $14.99 (or 1200 MSP), which comes with an exclusive weapon called the Abzats.
