Ex-Battlefield Devs Form New Studio to Make Open-World Space Epic

A new development studio, dubbed Fugitive Games, has been formed, and the team is seeking funding for its first project on Kickstarter.

The game is called Into the Stars and promises to be "a single player open-world journey through a distant solar system" where players "scavenge resources, manage your ship, and lead your crew in combat."

Fans of the Mass Effect franchise will be pleased to know that Jack Wall, the composer of the first two entries in BioWare's sci-fi trilogy, is involved in the music of Into the Stars as well.

The team is hoping to raising $85,000. If you'd like to show your support, you can send a few bucks their way by visiting their page on Kickstarter.
