General Tips
- Killing enemies without touching the ground builds combo. When ever you can aim for big combos since landing a big enough one will reward you with stat upgrades.
- Don’t avoid weapons because you don’t like a particular one. They either increase your charge or heal your HP, so skipping them means you’re losing out on those stat gains.
- Look for the buffs that give you extra fire-power, like rocket boots or explosive corpses.
- Always try and get into the bubbles. There's often health pick-ups in there. Not just hearts but 100 gems, battery and ammo for your Gunboots as well.
- Remember to reload frequently. This happens automatically when your Gunboots hit the ground.
- If you get 4 extra HP when you're on full health you'll get another chunk of life.
- You can kill turtles, bats and jellies by landing on top of them, if you need to save ammunition. But it has no effect on snails or red orbs.
- Gems can be found by killing enemies and destroying objects. Collect them to buy items from the shopkeeper and unlock new styles.
