Final Fantasy 16 White Wyrm Bone Location and What It’s Used For

You’ll need to find White Wyrm Bone in Final Fantasy 16 to craft the Diamond Sword and Diamond Armlets. Alternatively, it can be used to reinforce either of these items to +1. However, like many of the higher rank crafting materials in FF16, there’s only one location to find White Wyrm Bone. Fortunately, there’s no way to miss it.

Where to find White Wyrm Bone location in Final Fantasy 16

White Wyrm Bone drops from the White Dragon boss in the main quest, Fire in the Sky. This is the 51st main story quest in Final Fantasy 16, so you won’t get this crafting material until near the end of the game.

Fortunately, defeating the White Dragon will give you three pieces of White Wyrm Bone. However, this is the only location in FF16 where you’ll get this item, so make sure not to waste it.

There are a couple of items you can craft with White Wyrm Bone in Final Fantasy 16:

  • Diamond Armlets:
    • 1 White Wyrm Bone
    • 142 Wyrrite
    • 47 Sharp Fang
  • Diamond Sword:
    • 1 White Wyrm Bone
    • 1 Imperial Link
    • 90 Bloody Hides

However, you can also buy these items from Goetz and Charon, so you’re better off saving the White Wyrm Bone for upgrades. You can level both the Diamond Armlets and Diamond Sword up to +1 with the following recipes:

  • Diamond Armlets +1:
    • 1 Diamond Armlets
    • 1 White Wyrm Bone
    • 142 Wyrrite
    • 47 Sharp Fang
  • Diamond Sword +1
    • 1 Diamond Sword
    • 1 White Wyrm Bone
    • 1 Imperial Link
    • 52 Bloody Hides

You can then use another White Wyrm Bone to upgrade the Diamond Armlets to +2 with this recipe:

  • Diamond Armlets +2
    • 1 Diamond Armlets +1
    • 1 White Wyrm Bone
    • 10 Desert Rose
    • 3 Meteorite
    • 60 Sharp Fang

By upgrading the Diamond Armlets and Diamond Sword, you’ll get the most bang for your buck from this rare crafting item.
