Monopoly Go Galactic Treasures Milestones Rewards List Digging Mini-Game Treasure Hunt

Monopoly Go Galactic Treasures Milestones and Rewards List [Update]

The Monopoly Go Galactic Treasures event continues the fan-favorite treasure hunt mini-game. Like past digging events, like Jungle Treasures and Moonlight Treasures, you will need to extract artifacts hidden beneath a square or rectangular grid. Digging up a square requires that you use a pickaxe token, otherwise known as hammers, which you need to obtain by completing milestones in tournaments and banner events. There are other ways to grab them, but that’s where you’ll get the bulk of them.

Galactic Treasures is slated to arrive on February 23, 2024, likely at 5:00 AM PT / 8:00 AM ET if we’re going by when past digging events started. We’re not sure how long this event will last until the mini-game goes live, but it should be either four or five days. The current Space Repairs tournament might have pickaxe tokens available once this treasure hunt begins. Here’s what information we have so far on the Galactic Treasures mini-game for Monopoly Go on iOS and Android.

What are the Monopoly Go Galactic Treasures milestones and level rewards?

[Update 2] There are actually 20 stages for the Galactic Treasures digging event for Monopoly Go. We have uncovered all rewards for the event, including a 30-minute Sticker Boom, a Star Capsule shield skin, and the UFO board token. A Wild Sticker is indeed a part of the final reward.

[Original] The Monopoly Go Galactic Treasures event should have 16 levels or milestones, and completing each one will earn a reward. Based on the most recent treasure hunt, here’s what we expect the list of milestones will be. We will mark any rewards below that have not been confirmed yet with an asterisk (*) and then remove it once we have figured out what they are after the event goes live.

  17. 400 Free Dice Rolls
  18. 15 Galactic Treasures Pickaxe Tokens
  19. Cash
  20. Cash + 2500 Free Dice Rolls + Wild Sticker

We have seen images of a UFO board token, so we’re fairly certain that it will appear as a reward around the 14th milestone.

It is also possible that one of the milestones in the back half will have a special boost. For Moonlight Treasures, there was a fantastic 30-minute Sticker Boom boost for the 12th level. There’s also a chance that instead of a Galaxy Pack as a final reward, we might see the new Wild Sticker boost, which would let players pick the sticker that they want to receive.

To earn extra pickaxes and hammers, you will be able to get a handful of them by completing the three Quick Win objectives that refreshes daily and the free gift box from the in-game store that refreshes every eight hours. There’s a low possibility that Scopely will also provide links to free pickaxe tokens, though the developer will likely release more free dice codes instead.

As usual, there’s a lot of strategy you can use to dig up artifacts without wasting many tokens. One of the best strategies is looking at the size of the artifacts you need to find and seeing if there are any spaces that have a high likelihood of hitting a treasure. There are also some spaces where missing the artifact can still give you information and allow you to remove other spaces by process of elimination. Most strategies that work for the Battlefield board game can be applied here, with the exception that landing a hit will give you the orientation of the artifact as well.
