Shadow Tower Coming to PSN

The Souls series and Bloodborne have been developer From Software's big claims to fame, but the company has even more experience with tough-as-nails RPGs. Fans can get a history lesson next week with the PSN release of Shadow Tower.

The news comes from the most recent PlayStation Blogcast, in which Bloodborne is the hot topic of conversation. Shadow Tower originally came out on PlayStation in 1998, following the release of the first few King's Field games.

King's Field is often labeled as the big inspiration for the Souls series, and Shadow Tower follows that formula closely as well. It's hard, it's creepy, and it has a cult fanbase. Basically, it's a From Software game.

Shadow Tower comes out on PSN in the US next week.
