Sonic Is Headed to PC For His First Time in Years With Sonic Lost World on Steam

In just one month Sonic will land on Steam allowing PC players to enjoy the franchise for their first time in years.

The title being ported over is Sonic Lost World, a game that was previously Wii U and 3DS exclusive. Although it received mixed reviews at launch, many platforming fans consider it underrated, although our review would argue that its low scores were deserving.

The PC release will include gamepad support, higher resolutions (1080p+), and Steam features such as achievements, cloud saves, and leaderboards. Pre-orders will also come bundled with the popular kart-racing title Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed.

The last Sonic games to land on Steam were Sonic Generations in 2011 and Sonic Adventure 2 in 2012. Both were considered well-composed ports, painting a positive picture for Sonic Lost World.

Sonic Lost World will debut on November 6th for $29.99.
