Origin Access Premiere, Anthem

E3 2018: Origin Access Premiere Announced at EA Play

Origin Access Premiere is a new tier of the Origin Access service. It was announced today at EA Play, and looks to work a lot like Xbox Game Pass does. Players will get access to the current Origin Vault as well as all the big new games coming from EA.

Games announced to be part of the Origin Access Premiere service are big names like Madden 19, Battlefield 5, and Anthem. The games will be available on launch day for subscribers. Unfortunately, so far Origin Access Premiere is only announced for PC at this point. Origin Access Basic will also be available for those who just want access to the vault games.

Having used Origin Access before, I hope that EA puts more thought behind what they include in the vault. So far it’s seemed a bit like a way to get you into a game and then make you buy the DLC.

Origin Access Premiere will be $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year. There’s no firm release date for the service yet, but you can pre-register to get email updates. You can also get a seven-day free trial for Origin Access from now until June 17. 2018.
