EA Pulling Medal of Honor “Out Of The Rotation”

You'd be hard-pressed to find a gamer out there who'd admit to being impressed with last year's Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Now that Electronic Arts is done denying that it was a disaster, the publisher has confirmed that they will be taking a break from the franchise for the time being.

“We are taking Medal of Honor out of the rotation,” EA COO Peter Moore said during yesterday's earnings call, noting that the game received “poor critical and commercial reception” due to a sluggish industry and reviews that were “lower than it deserved.”

EA Labels president Frank Gibeau shared a few words as well, saying, “Frankly, we missed on Medal of Honor and we take responsibility for that.”
