Persona 4: Arena Gets The Udon Design Works Treatment Too

Are you a fan of Persona 4: Arena? Do you like pretty things? How about books, are you down with books? No way, you're not down. OK, I was just checking, because Atlus and UDON Entertainment will be releasing another Official Design Works artbook, this time focusing on the Persona fighter.

Persona 4 Arena: Official Design Works will first be available for purchase at San Diego Comic-Con in July and also appear at PAX Prime in Seattle over Labor Day weekend. You can pick up the book at those convetions or possibly from online retailers shortly afterwards.

I received Persona 3 Official Design Works as a gift a little over a year ago now and it really made an impression on me as I started to falter in my first playthrough of P3. Shigenori Soejima's art feels visceral and modern, but light-hearted and warm at the same time. Seeing some of my favorite characters in full-page spreads put them in a different light, but I don't think it'll compare to the wild aesthetics of Persona 4 Arena.

That game seemed like Atlus kept the characters and setting of P4 and then decided that the rest of it should spread to odd new areas of consciousness. I still haven't finished the story mode. Maybe I should finish the story mode. Check out these preview pages while I go finish Persona 4: Arena's story.
