Need For Speed: Rivals Launches Off A Ramp, Through A Billboard And Into Retailers

PlayStation fans were disappointed to learn that Sony's own racing game has to miss launch, but Electronic Arts have stepped up to the plate and readied their PS4 release of Need For Speed: Rivals for tomorrow's PS4 Launch.

I mean, watching this trailer, I just feel so uncool. This guy hates the cops, has a super fast car, and gets to drive through buildings… and I don't! At least, not yet. Fortunately for Need For Speed, it's the only racing game on PS4. Unfortunately for me, the field will fill up fast. I'll do my best to hold down a good part of Redview County as a police officer, roaming the hills waiting to make a bust.

Will you be my racer? Racers have a long history as console launch games and I've always found myself with a racing game when I buy new hardware. Need For Speed: Most Wanted on Vita wasn't a launch game, but it was an excellent piece of early software.
