Activision Blizzard has released its 2014 Q1 financial results, which indicate a steady decline for its incredibly successful MMO, World of Warcraft.
As of March 2014, the subscriber numbers have fallen to 7.6 million, which is by no means a small number, but still a decline compared to the 7.8 million figure back in December. I think it's safe to say that WoW's best days are behind it, but considering the fact that the game has been out for nearly a decade, its current 7.6 million subscriber base is nothing to scoff at.
