Square Enix Revises Its Forecast Up, Wha?!

Square Enix has taken a turn for the better this year, recording positive software sales for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light in Japan, and a trio of games, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Thief, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

In addition to "forward cost reduction efforts on a group-wide basis" as well as "foreign exchange gains from the weaker yen" as reported in the company's recent press release, Square Enix has revised its net sales forecase up by a loose range of 5 to 10 billion yen.

We can only hope that the company will continue its success at the upcoming E3 in mid-June, where it will likely reveal Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV.
