Microsoft has revealed what will be included in its June system update for Xbox One.
Next month will bring with it a number of changes to the next-gen console, including support for external storage. That's right, at long last, gamers will finally be able to connect up to two drives at once via HDMI 3.0, so long as the drives are over 256GB and have been subsequently formatted.
In addition, the update will add the long-awaited "real names" feature, which allows users to have their real name displayed to friends. Microsoft will allow you to decide exactly who among your friends will get to see your real name, as maintaining privacy is important.
Other new features like SmartGlass integration for OneGuide and Universal Remote use is coming, as well as an automatic log-in option. Microsoft is sure to provide more details about the system update as we head into June, so stay tuned for additional updates.
