Sony Uses Sunset Overdrive Font in PSN Advert

Sony is running a "Sale of the Dead" on PlayStation Network, but what is perhaps more interesting than the sale itself is the font the company decided to use in advertising the promotion.

Look familiar?

That's because it is the very same font used in the branding for Insomniac Games' Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive. The game's official Twitter account took notice of the move and called the company out in a post, saying, "Hey @Playstation. Nice font. Glad you guys are excited for @SunsetOverdrive too."

In all fairness, Insomniac made the font available to the public for download free of charge. It's called "Overdrive Sunset" and can be downloaded right here.

We're now less than a week away from the launch of Sunset Overdrive. Will you be picking it up on its October 28 release date?
