Friday The 13th Details Leak From The Beta – Here’s How To Play

Friday the 13th: The Game is quickly becoming one of the premier indie games to look forward to in 2017. While some gameplay footage has been posted, you can really only glean a limited amount of information.

All we really knew was that the game is a 1v7 asymmetric multiplayer game where one player is Jason Voorhees who is trying to kill seven player-controlled counselors, but we didn't know the details on how that would actually play out.

Fortunately for us, curious on how to play the game, some beta tester broke NDA and posted dozens of screenshots from the game that give us almost everything we need to know. These screenshots were confirmed as legitimate and up-to-date by Friday the 13th: The Game's official Twitter account.

You can see for yourself in the gallery below (click images for full-size), but this game has me rather excited. It has the authentic feel of the Friday the 13th film franchise and what appears to be a well-balanced and intense asymmetrical multiplayer that offers both sides several ways to win.

The beta for Friday the 13th: The Game goes until Dec. 24 and is currently being streamed on Twitch as well, where it sits at the No. 2 spot, in terms of viewers, behind only League of Legends.
