2010 GR Awards: Best Kinect Game

Posted on Thursday, December 23 @ 12:35:02 Eastern by

Dance Central is not just this year's bets music game, but the only game that completely justifies the Kinect and puts it in a class of its own. There is no other game that best describes the device's mantra: "Your body is the controller." Everything from its quick-swipe interface system, to the way it tracks your limbs, and it has you follow an on-screen avatar instead of you moving an avatar, shows just how innovative and forward-thinking Harmonix is. In fact, I would even say that Dance Central has shown Microsoft how to use their own device properly.

And hey, you unlock a dancing robot at the end of the game. That's just full of win.

Runners-Up (in alphabetical order): Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, Kinectimals, Your Shape Fitness Evolved
