The CUKTECH 30 Ultra aims to do it all, with 300W of total output ready to charge anything from a phone up to a laptop. With its arsenal of outputs and built-in display, this could be the last charger you need. But how has it fared during my real-world testing? Here is my review.
Big W
As mentioned in the intro, the big eye-catching feature is that 300W total output. This makes it viable for power-hungry laptops and MacBooks. Windows laptops are particularly notorious for being bundled with a giant charging brick, so the CUKTECH 30 Ultra is a much nicer alternative.
The two main USB-C ports each support up to 140W via PD 3.1, so that will take care of most high-powered devices. Including a high-quality USB-C cable and DC tips in the box is great to see, ensuring the desktop charger is ready to go out of the box. I was particularly happy to see the 240W-rated cable, as this ensures users will be pairing the correct cable with the charger, removing any headaches.
A charger with a display

As for the 1.83” display, while not essential to the charging experience, I do think the info it provides can be useful. For the most part, it’s good for peace of mind. Knowing that a device is fast charging optimally and seeing which devices are taking up which share of the 300W is interesting.
The charging capability is unsurprisingly excellent. The specs don’t lie, and CUKTECH has delivered a charger that delivers consistent power over long periods of time, which I tested while gaming. I experienced no overheating issues, nor any other problems that had me worrying about the stability or safety of this device.
A desktop charger, through and through

When it comes to downsides, I can only really point to the display. While it has some excellent utility, I do wish it had additional functions, especially when the charger is sitting on my desktop plugged in, but not charging anything. Even a basic clock would be welcome.
The CUKTECH 30 Ultra is also not very portable. That might seem obvious, but I think it’s important to point out. I wouldn’t say it’s designed for stuffing in a backpack or charging on the go. It works best as a home desktop solution.

Final Verdict
At $159.99, the CUKTECH 30 Ultra Desktop Charging Station is a strong, premium option for anyone looking to tidy up and upgrade their charging setup. It offers plenty of power, a useful mix of ports, and a design that makes the most sense on a desk rather than in a bag. While it is not perfect, with limited portability and a display that could do a little more, it still delivers where it matters most and is easy to recommend as an all-in-one charging solution.
