Hint Gives God of War IV Announcement More Cred

Have you noticed the banner ads we've had all over GameRevolution the past few days? No? Well turn your fucking AdBlock off, dicks! You're missing out on some grade-A teaser.

The teaser makes a big deal out of the 19th of April, talking about vengeance and redemption. But not only is the teaser tattered around the web via advertising, it's also on Sony's PlayStation.com website—which is where Sony slipped up.

Internet detectives over on NeoGAF discovered that the flash file on the official PlayStation website had the following code in the URL (I've bolded the interesting part):

http://webassets.scea.com/pscomauth/groups/public/documents/webasset/ps_gow-teaser_12371_hp.swf

If that's anything to go by, plus the mere mention of vengeance, tomorrow's announcement is looking more and more like God of War IV. If not God of War IV, then another game under the God of War franchise.
