Move Over Driveclub, New Need for Speed Screenshots Show It’ll Be the Best-Looking Racing Game

EA has just released two new screenshots of this year's Need for Speed. Under normal circumstances that wouldn't be very interesting, but these screenshots are downright spectacular. I'd go as far as to say that they indicate that it will become the best-looking racing game in history when it arrives this November.

The screenshots in question show a brand new Subaru BRZ chilling on what appears to be an ordinary Los Angeles street at both day and night. Made better, they are placed side-by-side with photos of the car in real life sitting at the an identical location. So, what you're looking at in the screenshots is a render of a real location using the game engine.

See them for yourself below (be sure to click on the image to enlarge):

It's difficult to tell the screenshot apart from the real image. If you're having trouble, try looking for people in the background, which are only present in the image.

Need for Speed is an open-world racing game, which makes these screenshots all the more impressive. The console versions will run at 30 frames per second, while the PC version is likely to have no cap. If you'd like to see the PC version in action, an E3 gameplay demo is available.

Need for Speed will debut on November 3rd for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
