Dishonored 2 Dated for November 11, 2016

Exactly five years after the iconic release of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim on 11.11.11, Bethesda has slated the release of the much-anticipated Dishonored 2 by Arkane Studios for November 11, 2016. That's a Friday, which is good since that means you'll have the whole weekend to assassinate any fools silly enough to cross your path (in the game of course).

Bethesda has confirmed that Dishonored 2 will release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC and is a direct sequel to the first Dishonored. You'll once again navigate a world of "mysticism and industry," according to a press release, this time as either Empress Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, the protagonist from the original game.

As before, you'll need to choose between defeating enemies silently and sparingly, or killing everyone in your path. The story will "responds to your choices," though it may not be as direct as the chaos system from the first Dishonored.

Bethesda will reveal much more on Dishonored 2 at this year's upcoming E3 2016 during its press showcase, being held in Las Vegas, and in Game Informer's June cover story to release on May 7 in print and today through the magazine's digital edition.
