Report: Amazon Pre-Orders of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Delayed Until Thursday [UPDATE]

[UPDATE]: Bandai Namco has officially responded, tweeting that the delays were due to unforeseeable logistical difficulties. But they also claimed that it's only affecting the collector's editions, while not naming any outlet in particular.

[Original Story]: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 released today, but, if you pre-ordered via Amazon, you likely won't be able to play until Thursday.

As is usually the case with Amazon Prime pre-orders, they deliver the game to your house on its release date (if you're lucky, sometimes the day before). But several people apparently woke up to empty mailboxes and a shipping estimate of Thursday, Oct. 27.

Several redditors have corroborated the same story, and Amazon has apparently put the blame on Bandai Namco, saying that they weren't shipped an adequate amount of copies, according to the thread.

Those affected were able to contact Amazon and get some sort of compensation ($10 credit, for example), and you may still be able to switch to One-Day shipping free of charge and get it tomorrow, but you'll have to contact Amazon to do so.
