Namco Bandai Preparing An Announcement For Dark Souls Fans

Dark Souls was one of the best games of last year, and along with Demon's Souls Namco Bandai has made an presence this generation that can't be ignored. But who's to say the run is already over?

Rich Bantegui, Namco Bandai Community Manager, has posted on Twitter something that's as exciting as it is painful. He stated:

Check it out DARK SOULS fans – An announcement is coming……

I can't wait to find out what it is, but until then I'll be refreshing Twitter until I find out what it is. I hope my F5 key forgives me.

Now cue the speculation. Will it be a new title in the Souls series? New downloadable content? A huge patch? If I had to bet I'd put money on it being a new game, but I've been wrong before. Bantegui didn't mention when the announcement would be but it should be soon. Whatever it is, if it's even close to being as good as Dark Souls, I'm all over it.

Stay tuned for the official announcement as well as details.
