PSN May Resume Operation By Tuesday

The PlayStation Network is now on its eighth day in a row being completely inaccessible. Sony has only recently explained the reason for the outage, which left users in a fit of rage knowing that their personal data may have been compromised. But what seems to be even more angering is that PSN is still down.

Thanks to a new PSN Q&A posted last night by the PlayStation.Blog, we now have an idea as to when PSN may resume service. According to one of the answers given by Sony's Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Social Media, Patrick Seybold, Sony employees are "working day and night to restore operations as quickly as possible" and that service could resume as soon as Tuesday — maybe even before. However, Seybold added that they'd do so, only if they are "confident that the network is secure".

The sooner the better, please. I need to delete my credit card info and resume working on getting that Platinum trophy in Mortal Kombat. What will you do as soon as PSN is back up and running?
