Two New Tales Games In Conception Including 20th Anniversary Title

As of today the Tales series has released 12 titles spanning its 16-year history, and Namco is now looking to add a 13th and 14th to the mix.

Hideo Baba revealed during a Play Community interview that Namco Tales Studio is already working on a new installment to keep RPG fans satisfied. In addition, he stated that a 20th anniversary title is in conception.

Last year's Tales of Xilia was regarded as the 15th anniversary release, so that means we have four years until we play whatever is being drawn on the storyboard. However, the other title should come before then, and there's no telling what platform it will be for so the Wii U as well as other next-gen platforms could be involved.

The real question will be if either of these upcoming games will embrace the West. Tales of Graces f proved worth the effort of localization for Namco Bandai after it sold over 300,000 copies outside of Japan. Let's hope that inspires them to consider bringing some of the newer releases over.
