Tell GR: What Game Series Deserves a Collection?

The Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 has released this week, with Capcom offering two bundles containing all the games from the classic Mega Man X series. This got us thinking: what other games deserve to be immortalized in a comprehensive collection? Which other series need to be compiled and sold in one tasty package, that lets us revisit a bundle of our favorite games in one sitting?

There’s a whole bunch of gaming series out there that have received multiple releases spanning decades, meaning that there are plenty which could be transformed into collections for a modern audience. We’ve already seen the likes of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy offer remastered versions of old games to an incredibly positive response. Why not offer this treatment to more games? We’re sure a Resident Evil collection would go down a treat, for one.

So what do you think would make a good game collection? Is there an old-school series you believe could do with a Crash Bandicoot-esque remake trilogy? Or maybe even a newer series that you’d like to see grouped together? Let us know in the comments section below!
