Assassin’s Creed IV Release Date Leaked, Coming To Next-Gen Consoles

The official site for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag indicates that the game will be released on October 29th. The launch date was discovered by DarkZero (via Joystiq) by simply adding a "v" to the end of the site's URL.

It appears that Ubisoft has since resolved the issue, but not before the source managed to capture a screenshot of the page, pictured below.

You'll notice that in addition to the release date, the image indicates that the game is "also coming to next-gen consoles." Do you plan on picking up this new pirate-centric entry on next-gen hardware, or will you settle with the current-gen option? I guess once we see the disparity between the two that decision may be a bit easier to make.

For all things Assassin's Creed and gaming in general, keep it locked to GameRevolution.
