An Apex Legends “There was a problem processing game logic” PC error has been an ongoing issue for many players in recent times. The issue causes people’s games to crash randomly at various points. Find out what the Apex Legends PC game logic error fix is with our help.
How to fix the Apex Legends “There was a problem processing game logic” error
The Apex Legends “There was a problem processing game logic” error first cropped up in February. It began life in this official forums thread, started by iFlyPenguins, as it kept causing their game to crash at random points. The error message that popped up read “ERROR There was a problem processing game logic. Please try again ———- mp/sh_comms_menu.nut#1121 [CLIENT]Index 6.”
Since then, the thread has only continued to grow as Respawn’s support staff struggle to find a definitive solution to the problem. More and more different error messages have been seen since, and it’s preventing some players from being able to enjoy all of the new stuff that Season 1 brought to the game.
There’s one common denominator that Respawn has found with the Apex Legends PC game logic error. Players who have come across it have been using the Razer Naga mouse and, in particular, keybinding the numbers four and seven to different in-game actions.
The first thing you can try, then, is to stop using the Razer Naga mouse. It’s not ideal, but if this is the source of your issues then it’s the natural choice. You’ll likely have to buy a new gaming mouse too, unfortunately.
If you don’t use the Razer Naga mouse — and there are players in the above thread who haven’t — your best bet is to post your crash dump file in the EA forum thread. This is at the request of EA support manager EA_Blueberry.
They suggested that putting your crash dump file in the thread would help the team locate the problem a lot more easily and quickly, and patch through a fix for it.
Update: On May 1, 2020, we experienced the Apex Legends ‘There was a problem processing game logic’ while in-game. We aren’t using Razer products and the error only occurred once. We recommend rebooting the game and trying again. If that fails, reboot your PC and see if that works.
