Mario & Sonic Olympic Games Coming To Wii U

The Big N's iconic plumber and Sega's speedy blue hedgehog will be teaming up once again in a new Mario & Sonic Olympic Games title for the Wii U, Nintendo announced today during its Wii U-focused Nintendo Direct.

As one would suspect, the game will feature a number of familiar faces from both franchises as well as a multitude of different activities, not the least of which include skating, skiing, and yes, curling. While I doubt this will be a must have for the hardcore crowd, perhaps a release like this will help get the younger folks and families on board.

No word on exactly when the game will be releasing, so stay tuned for additional details.
