One Punch Man Season 3 Release Date News and English Dub Update

With season 2 coming to a cliffhanger of a conclusion, fans are understandably eagerly awaiting the One Punch Man season 3 release date announcement. If you’ve been following the hit anime for a while now, you’ll know that the delay between a season can be pretty damn long. This is especially true of the translated dubbed versions. Here’s an up-to-date guide on what we know about the Japanese and One Punch Man season 3 English dub release date.

When is the One Punch Man season 3 release date?

What with the level of hype surrounding One Punch Man, you might have expected the season 3 release date to already be known. Surely a plan would already be in place for this hit anime to continue its story? Unfortunately not, as the season 2 finale ended without any clear confirmation about when exactly new episodes would be released.

Following the controversial change of production company and director between season 1 and season 2, there was a significant delay before the second season’s release. Here’s hoping that this was a unique situation, with the One Punch Man season 3 release date coming much sooner.

Season 1 aired in Japan between October and December 2015, while season 2 didn’t air until April 2019. Will fans have to wait another three and a half years for season 3? Let’s hope not.

When is the One Punch Man season 3 English dub release date?

If you demand an English dub for your anime, then you’ll likely be waiting even longer for the One Punch Man season 3 English dub release date.

At the time of writing, there isn’t even a season 2 English dub! This doesn’t exactly bode well for a season 3 English dub. It might be a good idea to watch the Japanese version to avoid spoilers, before then watching the season 3 English dub when (if?) it eventually releases.
