Can You Disable Camera Shake in Need for Speed Heat?

With Need for Speed Heat in the hands of gamers at long last, people have begun complaining about a few of its quirks. One question that we’ve seen crop up, anyway, is “can you disable camera shake in Need for Speed Heat?” In this guide, we’ll take a look at whether there is a Need for Speed Heat disable camera shake option or not.

Can You Disable Camera Shake in Need for Speed Heat?

Need for Speed Heat disable camera shake

As of writing, there is no Need for Speed Heat disable camera shake option. There is currently no way of turning off the heavy camera shake in Need for Speed Heat. To make matters worse, you cannot reduce the level of camera shake in the game, either. This may come as disappointing news if you’re someone who suffers from motion sickness while witnessing camera shaking in video games.

Camera shake can look good in games, adding a layer of excitement and detail to the graphics. In racing games such as this, the level of camera shake is often used to help differentiate between different road surfaces and your level of speed. Unfortunately, camera shake can give people motion sickness if it is too heavy. It sounds as though it is too heavy in Need for Speed Heat if this Reddit post is anything to go on, anyway.

While you cannot currently disable camera shake in Need for Speed Heat, it is, thankfully, something that could be implemented in a future update. Ghost Games could add in the option to disable camera shake easily enough. You may find, too, that the camera shake may simply be toned down in a future patch. Time will tell if either improvement is implemented, but we hope it’s sooner, rather than later.
