Level-5 Reveals Sales Numbers, Announces Layton 7

Level-5, the company behind the Professor Layton series and the enchanting Studio Ghibli JRPG Ni No Kuni, has posted its sales numbers, which are quite impressive.

A whopping 15 million units of the Layton franchise have been moved, and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has shifted a solid 1.4 million when taking into account both the PS3 and Japan-exclusive DS versions. Not too shabby.

In addition, the company announced Layton 7, a spin-off which will be headed to iOS, Android, 3DS platforms.
